Having trained with and worked for one of the leading driving schools in the country, I decided to branch out and become an independent driving instructor, so I started my own business and have never looked back.

I live in Newport with my wife Julie and children Daisy and Sam. In my spare time (which I seem to have very little of these days!), I can be found playing bass with various bands on the islands vibrant live music circuit.

Before becoming a driving instructor I worked in the entertainment industry for many years, touring all over Britain, Europe and Scandinavia, settling on the Isle of Wight in 1989. During my time in the entertainment business I learned a great deal about communicating with people from all walks of life, and assessing peoples needs, which is a great asset in my capacity as an instructor.


I thoroughly enjoy my job as a driving instructor; you cannot beat the satisfaction of helping someone pass his or her driving test.
